I've been cooking in the bush, on and off for about twenty years and I take much delight in teaching people how to cook using open fires and using cast iron ovens and skillets. Recently, I and a few awesome mates have ventured into the realm of competition Camp oven cooking with some success and we all enjoy tent camping in the Australian bush. The sounds of the bush are both soothing and restorative and, in this stressful and troubled times, the freedom of being able to enjoy the open spaces coupled with cooking over an open fire is a very special privilege.
