    About the Book

    Edit

For Mine – Vol. 001 is an attempt to do something simple and difficult at the same time: put real feelings on paper.

This collection of poetry and photography by Tore began as something personal — a release, a pause, a way to make sense of love, memory, anxiety, growth, faith, and the quiet moments that stay with us. Some pieces were written for a wife, a daughter, a mother, friends, and for the man becoming along the way. Others were written just to survive the moment they came from.

But this book doesn’t stay personal for long.

Because once feelings are shared, they change.

They stop being about who they were written for…
and start belonging to whoever recognizes themselves in them.

If a line feels familiar, if a photo reminds you of something you never said out loud, that’s the exchange. These pages were once mine. Now they might be yours.

And at the end of the book, the story doesn’t stop.

The final section, “For Yours,” gives you space to add your own words — messy, unfinished, or simple — in whatever format feels true. Not to be perfect. Not to be poetic. Just honest. Write for who you love. Write for who you miss. Write for who you’re becoming.

Because this isn’t just a poetry book.

    It’s a place to feel.
    A place to pause.
    A place to recognize yourself.

    For mine.
    For yours.
    For us.

    Miami and Mexico City

I’m Tore, a Creative Director based in Mexico City (for now). Most of my work lives in advertising, where I help brands tell stories. But writing has always been my way of making sense of life — love, family, faith, anxiety, growth, and everything in between. For Mine wasn’t planned. It started as something personal — words and photos I needed to get out. Over time, I realized the more honest it was, the more people saw their own story in it. I’m originally from Miami, shaped by different cultures, and still learning to move through life with curiosity, gratitude, and a camera nearby.
