Since 1984, Nearpass’ USAC, WoO, Indy Car, and NASCAR work has been featured in national publications and books, including National Speed Sport News, Speed Sport News Insider, SprintCar, MARC Times Racing News, Mid-American Auto Racing News, Circle Track Magazine, Racing for Kids Magazine, Open Wheel/Stock Car Racing Magazine, Flat Out Magazine, Sprint Car & Midget Magazine, and books the Carl Hungness Indianapolis 500 Yearbooks, the Carl Hungness Indianapolis Stock Cars Yearbook, Mario Andretti: The Complete Record by Mike O’Leary, and John Andretti RACER as Told To Jade Gurss. His work is also regularly featured in the Paul Oxman Sprint Racing Calendars and on the USAC website. In addition to his work as a photographer, Nearpass has authored numerous feature stories for Sprint Car and Midget Magazine and Speed Sport Insider.
